Current standard practices for green packaging and printing include:

  • Recycled paper stocks with 50% or more recycled content, 25% of which is post-consumer waste
  • Recycled Board stock is 100% recycled
  • FSC certified paper stock is used when non-recycled paper is not. All new fiber content comes from well-managed forest operations that practice responsible logging, protect high-value conservation areas and are responsible to local communities.
  • All of our inks are vegetable-based and are produced from renewable resources. This makes printed products easier to de-ink when they ultimately get recycled
  • Varnishes - whether matte, gloss or satin - are water-based and bio-degradable
  • 100% recycled digi trays are available upon request
  • 100% of paper and board waste is recycled
  • Ink and fountain solutions are collected and disposed of in a safe controlled manner
  • Solutions used to clean presses contain the lowest amount of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) available
